Dr. László T. Mika
Amateur Photographer, Chemical Engineer, Professor of Chemistry.
Photography is my hobby and passion.
I graduated as a chemical engineer at the University of Veszprém (Since 2006, University of Pannonia), Hungary in 2000. I received my PhD in organic- and organometallic chemistry at Eötvös University Budapest, Hungary in 2010. I worked as an assistant professor at the Institute of Chemistry until 2012, when I moved to the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary. I am a full professor with tenure and head of the Laboratory of Catalysis and the Department of Chemical and Environmental Process Engineering.
I started photography when I was 24 years old; since then, it has become my hobby and passion. My favorite themes are landscapes, nature photography, and cityscapes, from small villages to metropolises.
I have had the chance to visit several unique and amazing places, and I always tried to shoot the memory of them.
